Pastor's Bio
Reverend Polly J. McWilliams, is a graduate of McKendree College in Lebanon, Illinois.  
She is also known as Pastor Polly and was ordained July 16, 1995 at Evangelical UCC in
Highland, Illinois after graduating from Eden Theological Seminary.  She has served two
churches.  She served Evangelical Children’s Home, in St. Louis, from March 1999 until
she came to Emmanuel UCC July 1, 2008.      

Pastor Polly is an active participant in the Missouri Mid-South Conference.  She has an
affection, some say it is an affliction, for directing or chairing various camps for our
conference.  The camps she works with generally range from middle-school age through
adult.  She is also Spiritual Director with her Certification from Aquinas Theological
Institute in May 2005.  She enjoys including spiritual direction in her ministry.       

Pastor Polly's husband Randy is a tow boat captain.  They enjoy sharing daily devotions
together, working on their home, gardening, cooking, and hosting gatherings at their
home.  Presently they are building a dining room.  They have two adult children, Angela
and Randy.  The oldest, Angela, is a stay-at-home mom, and her spouse Bill, is a
computer programmer and they live in Hazelwood.  They are the parents of three
children, Cameron, age 11, Noah, age 5, Sophia, almost age 1 and Luna the Cat.  The
son, Randy is a the facilities manager at The Old Globe Theatre and a part-time college
student in San Diego after serving 10 years in the U.S. Navy.  He is the "parent" of their
"grand-dog" named Bogart.  Polly and Randy are also the “parents” of Mike the Dog and
Gail the Cat.
